Vinyasa yoga gives you an excellent start to your day, helping to warm your body, fill up with energy and stretch out your muscles ready for walking.

Meditation switches you off from everyday life, relieves stress and calms down your mind.

The walking improves your fitness level and offers you a wonderful experience in the spectacular Danube Bend at the leg of the Visegrad mountains.

Walking with a group offers the chance to make new friends who all have a common interest.


The outstanding Budapest sightseeing programme is one of the highlights of this holiday especially if you have a taste for Hungarian history.

You will see famous historical buildings and monuments from the era of the Hungarian - Austrian Empire and can enjoy a boat trip on the soft waves of the blue Danube. The magical city shows the past and present all together with a special Hungarian feeling.

I would like to introduce our excellent yoga teacher, Stephanie O’Leary.

My name is Stephanie O’Leary, I have been teaching yoga for three years after becoming accredited with the Independent Yoga Network, completing my training at Studio One Yoga in Standish, Wigan.

I completed further training in India at Yogadarshanam Mysore gaining my qualification with the Yoga Alliance.

I teach Vinyasa flow yoga at several gyms in Wigan, hold public classes at dance studios, Salsa weekends, yoga and mindfulness in primary and secondary schools for pupils and teachers.

The yoga can complement many different types of activities walking, cycling or dancing.

Choosing a walking holiday offers a range of benefits from seeing more of the country you choose to visit, meeting new friends with similar interests and promotes general good health and fitness.

Walking is a form of exercise that can shorten and tighten muscles with continual repetition.

Your Yoga sessions will help you stretch out your muscles to improve your flexibility and build strength in your muscles to support your joints especially hips, knees and ankles.

Breathing techniques in Yoga increases your lung capacity building your stamina for those longer more challenging walks.

At the end of the day, your Yoga session will help you recover in readiness for the next days activities.

During your walking holiday, I will be teaching two yoga classes a day.

The morning session will be Vinyasa flow to wake, warm and energise the body in readiness for your walk.

The second session, in the afternoon or evening, will focus on stretching out tired muscles.

We may undertake Yin yoga, where poses are held for several minutes, or Yoga Nidra incorporating meditation opportunities to settle the mind and body in readiness for bed.
